At Mount Desert Moves, we bring elite-level fitness training to the stunning landscapes of Mount Desert Island, Maine. Our mission is to help everyone of all levels build strength, improve agility, and prevent injuries—all while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

 

Meet Your Coach: Henry Newhall

Founder and head coach Henry Newhall is a NASM-certified personal trainer and a Division 1 swimmer at Colgate University. With years of high-performance training experience from injurys to records, Henry specializes in strength training, mobility, and injury prevention to help individuals reach their full potential—whether you’re an athlete looking to enhance performance or someone aiming to move better and feel stronger.

Fitness Trailer

Our fully equipped trailer will help us run classes outside. The trailer will be equipped with fold-out squat racks, benches, trap bars, dumbbells, barbells, an array of bands, and more—everything needed to run effective classes.

 - To the right is the goal of the trailer. Two racks give us the ability to train outside.
